After 3 days rest from bento making I felt ready again for another bento adventure. I saw this mini pizza bento in one of my bento mooks collection and wanted to try them. I used white bread for the pizza bread just like the picture I saw, cut them into four parts. Then the bread was covered with spaghetti sauce first before I added sausage slices, corn, and mushroom toppings. Finally the pizza was covered with grated Kraft quick melt cheese before I put them in the oven.

I cut a few slices of cucumber and make use of the sausage remain and cut them into flower shape. I fried the sausage in a flat pan with very little cooking oil to avoid the sausages became too oily or greasy and I liked how it turned out.

After 10 minutes I checked out my pizza and some parts of the bread almost burnt. The cheese surprisingly melted well. I arranged the pizza into a small bento box along with the cucumber slices and the flower sausages. We still have a kiwi in a fridge so I did my usual routine with my v-shaped kiwi cutter.

Someday I like to make my own pizza dough and sauce but I will wait until we have a housemaid to assist me working on that.
