Christmas is approaching very fast this year. While usually we could loosen up a little bit around this time of year, unlike previous years now we’re still very busy until this week. Even I only managed to set up the Christmas tree yesterday while usually it’s already set on early December. But Christmas time is still Christmas time even we’ve got lots to do or we’ve got nothing to do. It’s a special time to celebrate and to be grateful for all the things we’ve got and all the things we’ve done for one whole year. It’s also a good time to review our work in a year and prepare for the things to come in next year.
Still in Christmas spirit, I made another Hello Kitty bento. This time as a santa little helper, she’s ready to give children presents during the Christmas eve.
The Hello Kitty character was made with usual pasta sheets, using brown, while, red, green, and yellow, with help of nori for her whiskers and also the eyes and nose of the reindeer costume.
As for the bento filling, I put slices of chicken katsu with sausage flower, broccoli chunk, and the special edition Ferrero Rocher chocolate with coconut filling.
