Wow, I past the whole November without a single post. There’s lots of going on for us during this time of year, from losing again another assistants, Jojo’s nanny leaving (until now) and lots of bento orders that keep my time schedule really really tight. But thank God that we still be able to continue with our daily life and finish the orders on time.
With 2011 approaching, we’ve only got several orders left until one week before Christmas and we’ll close all orders until start again on January. Let’s hope that everyone stay healthy so we can happily enjoy our vacation at the end of the year.
I’ve got this order during November from one of our best customers (thank you very much Ms. Dyah ^_^) that want Pooh theme for her daughter’s birthday. So we’ve made Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger all together.
We cooked Japanese fried rice instead of usual white rice for the bento, with our specialty chicken katsu and the usual vegetables.
Now I put baking paper between the rice and the pasta character so the kids can easily remove the character and put it somewhere else if they want to eat it later.
We finished this order around 3 hours since the fried rice took longer to make compare to just using white rice. With all new assistants, I’m glad that we could finish the order without any trouble at all ^_^
