Piglet bento

Wow, it’s been a while since my last post before the holiday. I’ve lost my assistant (as expected) since usually there’s only 50% chance of our employees that will come back to work for us after Lebaran season is over. We haven’t sorted out this problem yet until now (or until next few months) but still we have bento orders to deliver.

This one is a sample product that I should have done a while back since I’ve made a promise to one of my client. So this is it, my very Piglet bento special. Instead of Japanese style bento filling, I used Indonesian style lunch box filling like the one I made for my previous post.

Piglet bento
This is a complete ‘rames’ set, with white rice, fried noodle, beef rendang, caramelized tempeh (kering tempe), stir fried string beans, pickled cucumber, savory quail egg with cherry tomato, and mandarin oranges. The portion is quite big and I’m sure it’s enough for adults since I’ve ate the bento myself after taking picture of it.

As for the character, Piglet was made using three different colors of pink, quite easy to make, and I also add a green Eeyore and a yellow Roo pasta from my pasta collection.
